Directel is the only truly multi-platform media company in Macau. In less than a decade the company has, with the advent of the internet and the explosive growth of the Macau economy, been transformed from a Yellow Pages-only focused company to a multi-product company.

Directel Macau Ltd. has been, under contract from CTM – Companhia de Telecomunicações de Macau, the local telecommunications company, publishing the official Macau Yellow Pages for the past 18 years. The print Yellow Pages are still one of the most effective local advertising media with a reach that almost covers every citizen of Macau.

We are also a leading publisher of tourism-related products and our publications include the Macau Tourist Guide, the Macau Tourist Map, the Macau City Map and the Macau Leisure Time (3D-Map). All the mentioned products allow, thanks to an effective distribution strategy, our clients to focus on the increasing flux of visitors to Macau.

Directel Macau owns some of the most visited websites in Macau, namely www.yp.mo (Yellow Pages website) and www.MacauMap.com (online tour guide) and also provides web-hosting, web-design and mailing lists services. We are currently developing online 3D mapping solutions as well as local mobile search technology that will deliver new and more versatile products and services in the very near future. Directel Macau will continue to use today’s and tomorrow’s technology to provide our users with the most relevant products and digitally connect buyers and sellers.
